First responders from Lake Travis and Bee Cave commemorated the events of Sept. 11, 2001, with their third annual Memorial Stair Climb today. Beginning at 7:46 a.m., about 20 members of the Bee Cave Police Department and Lake Travis Fire Rescue climbed 110 stories of stairs—equivalent to the height of the World Trade Center–to honor the first responders who risked their lives in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, which took place 15 years ago. https://communityimpact.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Hero.jpg The remembrance was held at the Hill Country Galleria Parking Garage A in Bee Cave.
