Another Round Disc Golf, a national retailer for discs, accessories and disc golfing apparel, opened in Austin on Oct. 26.

Locally owned by Nick Barr, Another Round Austin offers local disc golfers a place to shop and hang out. Barr said he and his wife visited a disc golf store in South Carolina and wanted to bring one to Austin, especially because of the sport's local popularity. Austin has several disc golf clubs and courses, including one at Zilker Metropolitan Park.

Another Round Austin has a free outdoor practice area at the shop. Barr said they will also host events for casual and competitive players.
