A new AutoZone is headed to Lakeway following approval from City Council at a June 17 meeting.

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction on the new store is set to begin in November and wrap up in March 2025.

The auto repair store sells automotive replacement parts, accessories and vehicle maintenance items.

Company representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment regarding the opening date.

The Memphis-based business has over 6,000 stores nationwide, including just over 700 in Texas, according to the company’s website.
