The Bee Cave Arts Foundation’s art center and exhibition space The Hive moved to a new location within the Hill Country Galleria in May.

In a nutshell

Previously at 12700 Hill Country Boulevard, the space displays art from local artists and students, offering art classes and summer camps. The new spot across from H&M within the Galleria’s Arts District features rolling display walls, gallery lighting and floor-to-ceiling windows, Director Deby Childress said in an email.

What else?

Weeklong summer camps are being held at the facility, offering full- and half-day options allowing students to paint, draw, sculpt and more. The Hive plans to have more options for adult classes in the fall, Childress said.

The 6th Annual Members Show is being held through Aug. 23 to kick off the new space, featuring over 73 artists and over 110 pieces of displayed artwork. The gallery is open Wed.-Sat. from 1-5 p.m.
