The Austin-based bakery and neighborhood market Swedish Hill announced its newest location will be in West Lake Hills.

Some context

In January, the local eatery announced a "hiatus," following the closure of its historic Clarksville location on Sixth Street. The bakery has since moved into a smaller space on the same street under the name Little Swedish Hill.

According to a May 15 Instagram post, the new West Lake Hills spot will be in the former location of Blue Dahlia Bistro, which closed in April.

While company representatives were not able to confirm further details about an opening date, a new, full-service location was previously estimated to open around late 2026, according to Community Impact reporting.

What they offer

Little Swedish Hill serves breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads, alongside its coffee bar.
