After 19 years in business, Little Country Diner, a restaurant off Hwy. 71 in Spicewood, shuttered its doors permanently Sept. 23, according to a Facebook post by the owners.

Owners Remzi and Guljan Tireng stated retirement as their reason for closing, but further details about what will happen to the location could not be immediately confirmed.

The diner served Southwestern comfort food, such as chicken fried steak, burritos and burgers for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
