Jennifer Kloss, owner of Cedar Park Market Days, launched her newest market June 4 called the Bee Cave Farmers Market at the Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd., Bee Cave.

“We try to keep it about 75% food vendors, and that includes gourmet food vendors... like handcrafted salamis, chorizos, a mushroom vendor,” Kloss said. “I also have vendors that sell hot food.”

The other 25% of the market vendors are artisans that sell their crafts, such as handmade candles, jewelry and more.

In total, there are around 40 vendors at the market, which include teenagers and children part of the Young Entrepreneurs Program, a new program that began with the Bee Cave Farmers Market.

“[It is] a special program for young entrepreneurs, so kids who make different products can come set up a booth for free and sell their products,” Kloss said. “This last time we had seven young entrepreneurs.”

The market also features live music, such as jazz swing band Rent Party, as well as games for children.

Those interested in becoming a vendor can apply anytime on the Bee Cave Farmers Market website.

The market will take place every Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
