A group of private investors, led by Attila Management, has purchased the majority share of Arise Austin Medical Center, according to a press release.
An email from Attila Management’s media contact, Kate Morton, states that Los Angeles-based Attila led a similar majority ownership acquisition of The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center earlier in 2018.
The accompanying release from Attila states that following the majority ownership acquisition of The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center, the facility expanded its five-minute door-to-doctor emergency room service and increased services to offer plastic surgery, and drug and alcohol detox for patients.
Arise Austin is a 19-bed acute care hospital at 3003 Bee Caves Road that offers a full spectrum of general, surgical and specialized care. According to the release, Attila plans to renovate about 22,000 square feet of second-floor medical office space at Arise Austin.
“Under Attila’s management, Arise Austin will maintain a high level of patient service while working with new medical practices, increasing the number and diversity of surgical services, and expanding in-network insurance contracts,” the release states.
Morton said that Attila Management has so far not announced any further changes to Arise Austin.
