Lakeway’s new entertainment venue High 5 officially opened Jan. 11.

“The different places we’ve lived in—Dallas and Colorado—have had family entertainment centers, and we realized the need for one here in Lakeway,” Jennifer said. “We made a phone call to Brunswick [Bowling & Billiards] and had a market study done. [It] turns out this is one of the best markets they’ve ever seen for [a center]. So two years later, here we are.”
The name High 5 alludes to the type of feeling the center aims to evoke and was chosen because a high-five hand slap is the universal symbol of having a good time, Jennifer said.
Although High 5 is the first venture for former technology executive Scott and stay-at-home mom Jennifer, the duo may not stop in Lakeway.
“High 5 is the latest brand in family entertainment centers, and we hope for that to expand,” Jennifer said.
