St. David’s HealthCare announces new CEO for Round Rock Medical Center


The new heart center opened in 2015 at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.

Effective July 31, St. David’s HealthCare named a new CEO of its Round Rock Medical Center. Jeremy Barclay has replaced Deborah Ryle, who retired in June.

Barclay previously served as the chief operating officer of the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. Most recently, he worked as the COO of the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

Barclay received his master’s degree in healthcare administration at the University of Texas at Arlington and his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Arkansas State University.

“With Jeremy’s knowledge of our market, combined with his experience and demonstrated leadership skills, I am confident he will make an excellent addition to our organization,” St. David’s President and CEO David Huffstutler said.
