As things begin to unfreeze, the city of Georgetown is receiving reports of fallen tree limbs and debris on the roads, according to a Facebook announcement.

In the following days, the city will work to have curbside limb pickup available, according to the post.

The Texas Disposal Systems’ solid waste collection has been postponed. The city is recommending residents leave garbage containers out as they will be picked up by Feb 5.

GoGeo Limited Paratransit Services resumed transportation services Feb. 2 at 10:30 a.m.

The city is still recommending residents avoid driving as crews are continuing to remove fallen trees in the right of way. If a tree is laying on a power line, do not try and remove it, per the post.

Residents can report trees in or touching the road to [email protected].
