The city of Georgetown opened a water filling station for those who need access to water.

The station will be open Feb.18 from 12:30-5 p.m. at the Georgetown Community Center, 445 E. Morrow St., Georgetown.

There is a 10-gallon limit per household. Individuals should bring their own containers and wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19. City officials also urge caution while driving.

As of noon, much of west Georgetown continued to be without water, according to the water outage map.
