Crews are working to excavate the area between Wolf Ranch Parkway and SH 29 that will allow for the Southwest Bypass to be extended through the area.

Additionally, traffic was shifted to a detour along Southwest Bypass and Wolf Ranch at the end of October, according to Williamson County officials.

Dirt is also moving on the sidewalk trail on the east side of the road.

Once completed, the two-lane bypass will connect from I-35 to SH 29.
