Harbor Health is expanding its network of clinics in Central Texas with a new location set to open in Georgetown in September.

The clinic opening comes as a means of meeting primary and specialty needs of residents in the fast growing community, per Harbor Health.

Co-founded by Dr. Clay Johnston, former dean of the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas, the system of clinics prioritizes preventive care with longer visits as well as access to a high-quality path of care through collaborative co-creation with patients.

“Harbor Health differs from traditional care delivery approaches because we’re proactive regarding people’s needs and more focused on achieving better outcomes,” Dr. Johnston said in a release announcing the new location. “Our care model is designed to ultimately reduce wasteful healthcare spending.”

Harbor Health provides care to infants, children, adolescents and adults through physicians, nurses, pharmacists, health coaches, and specialists onsite.
