Josh Schroeder is leading the Georgetown mayoral race with 65.05% of early votes, according to the Williamson County clerk.

Jonathan Dade had 25.42%, and Larry Brundidge had 9.53% of early votes.

There were a total of 28,567 early votes for this race. Schroeder had 18,528; Dade had 7,263; and Brundidge had 2,722.

The person elected to this position will be in office until May 2023. The Georgetown mayor is elected at large, while the council members are elected from single-member districts.

Under Texas election law, the clerk accepts and counts mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by Nov. 4, if they were sent from inside the U.S., or Nov. 9 if they were sent from outside the U.S.
