Lisa King is leading the Georgetown City Council District 2 race with 46.52% of early votes, according to the Williamson County Clerk's Office.
Shawn Hood had 41.65% and Jason Wirth had 11.84% of early votes.
There were a total of 3,717 early votes for this race. King had 1,729, Hood had 1,548 and Wirth had 440.
The District 2 seat has been vacant since Valerie Nicholson resigned from her position May 31, as she and her family moved out of the district.
District 6
Rachael Jonrowe had 62.16% of early votes, with fellow candidate Michael Walton receiving 37.84% of early votes, according to the Williamson County clerk.
There were a total of 1,707 early votes for this race, with 1,061 for Jonrowe and 646 for Walton.
Jonrowe is the incumbent and is currently in her third term on council.
City council members are elected from single-member districts and serve three-year terms. The people elected to these positions will be in office until May 2023.
