Students age 18 and younger can receive free breakfast and lunch at three Georgetown ISD campuses this summer.
The summer meal program runs June 1-Aug. 7 at Tippit Middle School and June 1-Aug. 6 at Purl Elementary School and the Future Ready Center.
What you need to know
Children do not need to be enrolled in GISD to receive free meals, nor do they need to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. The program is also open to students with disabilities up to age 21.
No meals will be served June 23-July 3 while the district is closed, according to GISD documents. Additionally, Tippit will be the only campus providing meals on Fridays.
Tippit Middle School (serving meals Monday through Friday):
- Breakfast: 7:15-8:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Future Ready Center (serving meals Monday through Thursday):
- Breakfast: 8-9 a.m.
- Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Purl Elementary (serving meals Monday through Thursday):
- Breakfast: 7:15-8 a.m.
- Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
