In a nutshell

About the program

GISD defines students in the gifted and talented program as those who show capability for remarkable performance or academic achievement compared to their peers. The goals of the program are to provide students with the opportunity to become self-directed learners; enhance complex and critical thinking skills; and provide opportunities to engage with advanced educational content.
