Georgetown ISD postpones State of the District address to March 9

Georgetown ISD has postponed its annual State of the District event to March 9 at 10 a.m. at the Hammerlun Center, 507 E. University Ave., Georgetown.

The event was originally scheduled for Feb. 25.


In addition to the annual address from superintendent Fred Brent, the event will also highlight student and staff achievement across the district in an array of subjects as well as showcase a variety of projects and programs funded by the GISD Education Foundation.

Tickets for the event are free but registration is encouraged at https://bit.ly/GISD_SOTD_2022. Guests who had previously registered for the Feb. 25 event can update their preferences, while new guests can also register.
