A Culver's franchise will open in Georgetown by the end of September or beginning of October, owner Andrew Gravely said. The location is actively hiring and waiting on permitting to open the restaurant.
Gravely said his family owned Culver's locations in Florida, and decided to bring the company they loved to a community they wanted to live in.
"We live here, we're gonna raise our kids here and we're gonna do everything we can to make this our community and give back as much as we can," Gravely said.
After opening, the first 100 costumers who drive thru, and the first 100 who dine in, will receive free butter burgers or free frozen custard for a year.
