The Grumpy George, a new British pub and restaurant, started serving customers on Nov. 2 in Downtown Georgetown.

After building a private pub in their garden named The Grumpy Jack, Karen and Jack Soeffker decided to bring their concept to the Square. The business offers traditional British food with a modern twist. It also features English beers on tap and a full liquor bar.

Karen Soeffker said they plan to add a lunch menu within the coming weeks, but for now, only dinner is served.
