A new mixed-use commercial development totaling over 200,000 square feet is slated to open in west Georgetown over the next few years, according to the development’s website.

The Preserve will feature a mix of office, retail and flex spaces located off Hwy. 29 near the Water Oak neighborhood.

The overview

Georgetown-based developer OM Properties broke ground on Phase 1 of The Preserve in December, according to a news release by Jefferson Bank, which is providing $20 million in financing toward the first phase. Construction is expected to take 18-24 months, with Phase 1 opening in mid- to late 2025.

Phase 1 will include 50,700 square feet across the following buildings:
  • One two-story office building
  • Two retail buildings
  • Two flex space buildings
The $70 million development will include 18 total buildings once phases 2 and 3 are completed. Units will range from 1,300-8,000 square feet and are available for sale or lease, according to the development’s website.
