Williamson County and Cities Health District announced Oct. 19 it would not update its dashboard that day after the state's Texas Health Trace COVID-19 reporting system found inconsistencies with the county of residence assignment of COVID-19 case investigations, the dashboard read. The Oct. 19 data update should have included information from Oct. 17-19.

On Oct. 20, viewers were again notified that there would not be an update.

“The state is continuing to work with the software developer to address it as quickly as possible,” the dashboard said. “Cases reported to WCCHD since 10/16/20 will be verified for accuracy and reported as soon as possible.”
