It’s Texas Tax Free Weekend Get all your back-to-school shopping done while taking advantage of the sales tax holiday. Tax Free Weekend begins Friday and runs through Sunday. Several stores will be offering extended hours and sales, including Wolf Ranch Shopping Center.

Listen to music on the Georgetown Square Summer Music Concerts of the Square series continues with Roland Waits & The Wayward Travelers. WORTH THE TRIP

Buda’s Downtown Dash, Friday Downtown Dash is an event inspired by The Amazing Race that will take place in downtown Buda. Teams of two participants will decipher clues and compete against each other in various tasks at different downtown businesses. The first 10 teams to complete this registration form and post payment will receive automatic entry into the competition, and the subsequent teams will be added to a waiting list in the order that they applied. Team entry fee is $20 (for both contestants). 7-9 p.m. $20.
