The Georgetown Arts and Culture Board recently allotted $12,100 in grants to local art organizations in its second round of 2022 grants, according to a release.

Recipients include the Central Texas Philharmonic for its Patriotic Pops Concert, Georgetown Art Works for Art Hop, GTX Connect for Fiesta Georgetown, GTX Film for the 2022 GTX Film Festival and Williamson County Symphony Orchestra for its free spring orchestra “Pops” concert.

These events are expected to take place between October 2022 and March 2023.

According to the board, the grants will help fund local programming, such as the upcoming GTX Film Festival, and other efforts that include visual art, music and performance art.

The board will accept grant proposals for the next grant cycle in December.
