Spring break is just around the corner and the Georgetown Parks and Recreation department is offering camps for students from March 13 – 17.

Participants can select from five camps:

  • Camp Goodwater— includes a variety of activities, such as swimming, a challenge course, games, crafts, weird science and projects for students age 5-12.
    9 a.m.–4 p.m. $140 resident/$175 nonresident

  • Basketball Skills Camp— offers participants the opportunity to improve ball handling, shooting, footwork, and defense techniques for students age 8-17.
    8 a.m.–noon. $115 resident/$145 nonresident

  • Tennis Camp—focuses on technique, stroke production, strategy and shot selection through a variety of drills and games for students age 7-12.
    8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. $140 resident/$175 nonresident

  • Junior Tennis Academy—is designed for competitive junior players. Sessions will focus on proper technique, stroke production, strategy and shot selection through a variety of drills, games and match play scenarios for students age 11-18.
    1–3 p.m. $80 resident/$100 nonresident

  • Teen Adventure Camp—takes participants on a rock climbing and backpacking adventure on the longest loop trail in Arkansas for students age 12-17.
    $250 resident/$315 nonresident
