Ark Roofer was founded with one goal: to raise the standard of trust in a roofing industry that is often driven by pressure rather than transparency.
The backstory
Founder Luke Secora, a fourth-generation contractor, established the company in 2018.
Secora grew up working for his dad, painting houses, and doing kitchen and bath remodels. Later on, he started his own painting gig on the weekends and continued working for his dad during the week.
“[My dad] did everything except for the roofs,” Secora said. “Then, an old friend of mine introduced me to the opportunities that come with the tops of people’s houses.”
Secora worked in a sales role at a different company for about a year, and got to know the roofing industry.
“There’s some reputation with the roofers. ... It’s hard to find integrity in the roofing space, just a lot of people who are real salesy, real pushy, don’t really care about your best interest,” Secora said.
Seeing an opportunity to do things differently, he decided to build a company grounded in transparency and customer trust. This led him to start his own company out of his home office.
“It was just the craziest time of my life,” Secora said. “Working 90 to 100 hours a week for three years. I had two brand new babies and a new wife.”
He said the support of his wife is part of his success story. After having four people working in a 10-foot-by-10-foot office in his home, he opened the company’s current location off of Hwy. 29 in Georgetown.
It was barely affordable at the time, but Secora said he had a feeling he could grow into the space.
How it’s going
Now, Ark Roofer has six departments and a management team that runs each department. With all the growth, Secora said one thing remains true: Ark Roofer strives to lead with values.
The company offers roofing, siding, painting and gutter solutions as well as no-cost storm damage assessments.
“Part of our process is leading with education and transparency,” Secora said. “We want to ask where you're at in the process, what you're looking for, what possible fears or concerns you have, or what have you done in the past ..., because there's people that have had horrible experiences in the past.”

Secora said the best place to begin looking for a roofer is by going to the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. Members must go through a lengthy vetting process, and Secora said this is one of the best ways to ensure you get quality roofing services.
