Small Works 2025
The Georgetown Art Center will host the exhibit featuring artwork measuring under 12 inches. The opening reception for the exhibit will take place on Nov. 22 from 4-6 p.m. The exhibit features art from over 50 artists including Larisa Anaya, Jay Leigh, Deborah Vollmer Dahlke and more.

The Georgetown Palace Theatre will present the regional premiere of Disney’s Frozen. The show will feature songs from the original movie, as well as music written exclusively for theatre. The production is directed by Kristen Rogers. Georgetown Palace Theatre will host an ASL night on Nov. 29 with hearing loop technology available on the main floor of the Springer Stage.

Members of the public are able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal at the Georgetown Community Center hosted by the fire and police departments. The meal is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Local Georgetown businesses are celebrating Small Business Saturday with a variety of retail and dining specials. The morning starts with a kick-off event at 10 a.m. at the Downtown Development and Special Events Office, with holiday shopping to follow. The first 600 attendees will receive a free tote and everyone can pick up a passport to collect stamps at each stop to win a gift basket from local businesses. Shoppers can then vote for their favorite businesses in a variety of categories. Coffee fans can unite for the Coffee and Cocoa Crawl happening in conjunction with Small Business Saturday. The ticketed event includes a keepsake mug and samples from 10 participating downtown businesses like Goodfolks, Hydrate on the Square and Sweet Lemon Kitchen.

The Georgetown Project will host friends and supporters of the nonprofit for a holiday party with light appetizers and drinks, and a wreath auction with handcrafted creations donated from local organizations, businesses and people in the community. Proceeds from the event will go to the organization’s youth programs.

Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown, the tour includes five homes that are decorated for the holiday season. Proceeds from the event support children in Williamson County with literacy, scholarships and trade school education. Tickets are available online, at the Georgetown Visitors Center and at First Texas Bank.

Select homes in Georgetown will be open to the public for this year’s tour honoring C.S. Belford, a local designer and builder of over 60 homes in Old Town and the Belford Historic District. Architecture, interior design and history aficionados are invited to tour a curated selection of preserved 19th and early 20th century homes designed and constructed by Belford. Tour participants will also be able to see inside the St. John’s United Methodist Church sanctuary, which Belford designed.

Sanctuary Holistic Kitchen will host a holiday cookie decorating class at Sugar Mommy’s Bakehouse in Georgetown. All supplies will be provided with purchase of a ticket. The event allows children ages 6-13 to harness their creativity.

Sun City Rotary Club, the Georgetown Fire Department and Georgetown ISD will partner to present the annual event. Each ticket will include pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee, as well as a photo with Santa. Proceeds help provide food-related assistance to children and families in the community during the holiday season, including gift cards to families and teens, and cash donations to organizations.
