Georgetown community members can look forward to new restaurants and businesses to try with seven expected openings. In the meantime, locals can check out the six recently opened businesses and restaurants. This list is not comprehensive.

1. Crust Pizza Co.

Franchise owner Armando Cordova said his team opened Crust Pizza Co.’s Georgetown location and are working on a Leander location.

2. Happy Chicks


Diners can enjoy original, spicy, grilled and vegan chicken offered in a variety of dishes including tenders, nuggets, wraps, sandwiches and salads. Customers can pair their meal with a side of french fries, macaroni and cheese, roasted cream corn, tortilla soup or a fresh fruit cup.

3. OsteoStrong

The business uses robotic musculoskeletal treatment devices to help strengthen the skeletal system and provide trackable results. With its four device circuit, the business can help customers with one 15-minute session a week, owner Deepak Suthar stated in an email exchange with Community Impact.

4. Residence Inn by Marriott

The hotel offers rooms and suites with amenities including free wifi, free American and hot breakfast, wake up calls, a fitness center, a dry cleaning service and more. The company has over 85 locations in Texas.

5. The Vera Gallery

The gallery’s collection includes thousands of original artwork pieces created by American artist Vera Neumann between 1942-1993, owner Gregory Sharp said in an email.

6. Vered at San Gabriel Wellness & Recovery Center


Previously called Affinity at San Gabriel Wellness and Recovery Center, Vered is a recovery center for adults struggling with substance abuse and related psychiatric disorders.

7. Bojangles

The menu includes biscuits, bone-in chicken, boneless chicken, sandwiches, sides and more. The business has 15 locations in Texas.


8. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

The franchise is working through permitting for the Georgetown location, and officials hope to open in September, Public Relations Manager Kim Huynh said in an email.

9. Juniper Cocktails & Kitchen

The high-end cocktail and tapas bar will open in the heart of Georgetown, owner Andrew Newport said in an email.

10. McDonald’s

While the store is still under inspections, officials are targeting an opening date of May 7, a spokesperson for the franchise said in an email. The opening date is subject to change.


11. Petco

In addition to merchandise and animal habitats, the Georgetown location will have a grooming salon, training park and vet hospital, a Petco representative said in an email.

12. Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Two Tropical Smoothie Cafes could be coming to Georgetown as early as this summer, franchise owner Matt Cohen said in an email.

13. White Blossom Pediatric Dentistry


The practice originally expected to open in fall 2024 but faced delays, owner Dr. Michelle Zin said in an email to Community Impact.

Relocations

14. All Things New Florals and Design by Debra

Owner Debra Hobbs said her current store can be found at 817 S. Austin Ave., Ste. 101, Georgetown. The store will relocate to inside Austin Lampworks this summer.

Glamorous Faces

Owner Karen Santiago said she opened Glamorous Faces in Round Rock in 2024 and relocated to Georgetown in January. The business specializes in luxury bridal beauty.

Renovations

15. Cedar Rock Railroad

After almost five months of renovations, the Cedar Rock Railroad at Southwest Williamson County Regional Park reopened to visitors with a new track, locomotive and train.

16. Office Lounge

After a fire broke out inside the Office Lounge bar Oct. 16, owner and operator Bill Fischer said his team is preparing to reopen this year.
