Community members can try out a new coffee business or dine at a recently opened Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant with some new businesses joining Georgetown. This list is not comprehensive.

1. Dental Care at Cedar Breaks

The dental facility offers teeth whitening, dental imaging, oral health services, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, implants, dentures and more, according to its website.

2. Einstein Bros. Bagels

The bagel chain offers a variety of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, pastries and beverages. The Georgetown location was originally slated to open summer 2024, according to previous Community Impact reporting.

3. Hao-Hao Vietnamese & Chinese Cuisine


The family-owned and operated restaurant opened its first location in Round Rock but has received several requests over the years to open a location in Georgetown or Leander, employee Phoebe Huang said. The restaurant’s menu offers a range of entrees from pho and vermicelli to sautéed meat, vegetables and noodles.

4. Mojo Coffee

The company opened its ninth store and first Georgetown location, offering coffee drinks, energy drinks, pastries and more. The business was founded in Burnet in 2015 by cousins Austin Moon, Forrest Jackson and Lloyd Reagan.

5. Nivi Ice Cream

The artisan ice cream shop is now in its soft opening phase serving tastings and limited ice cream flavors. The business is located inside the recently opened Sharetea in Wolf Ranch Town Center.

6. Sharetea


Established in 1992, the company operates over 400 locations across 13 countries. The business offers milk tea, brew tea, lemonade, boba, halo halo, matcha drinks, ice-blended drinks and more.

7. Sneed, Vine & Perry

The business features over 20 attorneys, who work in a range of law facets from business and corporate law to residential real estate and tax law.

8. Chick-fil-A


The fast-food chain serves chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, fries, wraps and salads. For breakfast, the restaurant offers biscuits, burritos, scramble bowls, muffins and hash browns. Milkshakes, ice cream, cookies and brownies are also available.

Relocations

9. Georgetown Bikeology

Georgetown Bikeology relocated after the business’ former building in the 1000 Oaks Center strip mall was damaged by a fire in 2024.


10. Georgetown Free Bikes

The nonprofit moved from 2000 Dawn Drive, Georgetown to a new site which was previously home to Rabbit Hill School.

11. Pupology

The pet store will continue operating at 4236 Williams Drive until May 31 and relocate this summer to increase retail space, founder and owner Janet Cesarini said in an email.

12. Program Insurance Group

On Feb. 25, Georgetown-based Program Insurance Group announced it was acquired by Higginbotham, an independent brokerage firm based in Fort Worth.

13. Thundercloud Subs

Austin-grown Thundercloud Subs celebrated its 50th anniversary in March. The business was founded in 1975 by Andy Cotton and John Meddaugh, two friends who opened the business with only $2,500 to their names and a dream to sell submarine sandwiches. The company’s first location opened on Lavaca Street near UT campus.

14. Carl’s Jr.

Pending permit approval, the Carl's Jr. off University Avenue is slated to close mid-April, a manager said.

15. Black Sugar Caffé

Black Sugar Caffé closed its shops in Cedar Park, Georgetown and Round Rock in late January and has transitioned to wholesale only, owner Judy Lu said in an email. The Georgetown location will be replaced by Red Horn Coffee House and Taproom.

16. Sabino’s Pizza

Owner David Sabino said the Georgetown location never hit the numbers the team was hoping for. The pizza eatery has one operating location in Leander which serves traditional and specialty pizzas, wings, pasta, salads, sandwiches, rolls and appetizers.

Worth the trip

17. Stagecoach Inn & Restaurant

After almost two years of renovations, the nearly 80-year-old restaurant reopened with the help of Monument Group in Georgetown. An updated menu prioritizes fresh, local and seasonal items, per a news release.
