Creekside Eventing, a Georgetown facility offering horse boarding, eventing lessons and training, expanded their services to outside clients in late July.

Eventing is a three-day competition that showcases a rider and horse's skills in show jumping, dressage and cross country.

Now, the facility will offer individual lessons in these disciplines and hopes to take riders to competitions for them as well, co-owner Chad Hammerlind said.

Additionally, clients do not have to board a horse at Creekside Eventing to participate in the expanded lessons as the business has horses customers can train on.

The lessons are open to riders of all ages.

Creekside Eventing was founded by Hammerlind and his wife, Megan, in 2022.
