Hardtails Bar and Grill, which served as a community gathering place for motorcyclists, veterans and families, closed permanently in early June.

Established in 2009, Hardtails specialized in burgers made with freshly ground and seasoned meat. The restaurant also served a variety of bar foods such as homemade salsa, boudin balls, Santa Fe egg rolls, chili, salads, seafood and sandwiches.

It hosted live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
