A VetCheck Pet Urgent Care will open in May at the Randall's-anchored Oak Meadows Marketplace shopping center in Georgetown.

The national franchise offers a range of urgent care services for pet illnesses or injuries, including wound care, surgery, pain management, vaccinations, X-rays, blood tests and ultrasounds.

This will be the first Austin area clinic for the company, according to a company representative.
