City Post Chophouse, an upscale steakhouse in Georgetown, will expand with the opening of an underground speakeasy.

The vintage, 1930s-inspired cocktail lounge will serve Prohibition-style drinks, host live music and feature a cigar lounge with a built-in humidor. The speakeasy will also offer private meeting and event space.

City Post serves lunch, dinner, cocktails and wine. The restaurant opened in 2021 in a historic post office built during the Great Depression and Prohibition.
