Caribbean restaurant Canje opens its doors, plus more new businesses in Central Austin

Canje, a restaurant serving Caribbean food, opened Oct. 5 at 1914 E. 6th St., Ste. C, Austin. It is the latest culinary concept from Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, which also operates several other popular Austin restaurants, including Emmer & Rye, Henbit, Hestia, Kailmotxo and TLV.

Hutto Memorial Stadium opening delayed to Oct. 29

The opening of Hutto Memorial Stadium, previously scheduled for Oct. 15, has been rescheduled for Oct. 29, according to an announcement from Hutto ISD.
