Tejas Meat Supply butcher shop and restaurant to open in Georgetown this fall

Tejas Meat Supply plans to open at 101 E. Seventh St., Georgetown, later this fall, the owners said. The full-service butcher shop and restaurant will feature fresh cut meats from sustainable Texas ranches. House made sausages, jerky and charcuterie will be available along with other fine artisan food, beer and wine.

Northwest Austin family building first brewery in Anderson Mill

When Derek and Haley Law began initial designs on their upcoming brewery, they went in knowing they wanted the space to be as welcoming to the community as possible.

To meet that end, Haley said she told the architect the couple hired to design the space with clean, open lines of sight throughout the taproom of Slackers Brewing Co. so that parents can keep an eye on their children at all times.

Mobile haircut company SpaDash expanded its services to the West Lake Hills area in September. SpaDash, which was founded by University of Texas at Austin alumni, employs state-licensed hair stylists that will travel to client’s homes or offices.
