The Georgetown Arts & Culture program board is seeking the work from local artists for two upcoming projects.

The board is accepting applications for booth space at the Spring Art Stroll on April 21. Artists will exhibit their work in Grace Plaza, adjacent to Grace Heritage Center at 817 S. Main Street, and will participate in a juried selection process. Collaborating artists may also submit their work for one booth space as a group exhibition. The application and booth are free with all proceeds going directly to the artist.

The board and the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department are also looking to commission an artist for the Heritage Community Garden Mural Project. The artist is asked to give their artistic interpretation of the garden; it will be the signage at the park entrance.

The selected artist will receive a $2,500 stipend and an additional $500 for materials.

Applicants for both projects have until Feb. 28 to register at http://artsgeorgetown.submittable.com/submit.
