Central Texas weather will stay on the mild side for a few more days before the next shot of cooler air arrives just in time for the weekend.
Residents can look for patchy fog and spotty showers Thursday.
The next cold front arrives Saturday and will come with a sharp temperature drop. The front looks to be mainly dry, but the winds will kick up out of the north.
Low temperatures on Saturday night will be about 20-30 degrees cooler than the previous few nights.
