Cindy Anderson leads David Quintanilla in political donations so far this election season, according to the latest round of campaign finance reports due to election officials Monday, Oct. 31.

Every opposed candidate in the Nov. 8 election must file a contributions and expenditures report eight days before the election. This latest round of reports covers all financials from Sept. 30 to Oct. 29, according to the Texas Ethics Commission.

Here is how much donation money each candidate has earned and spent for the Austin ISD board of trustees election during that timeframe.

Cindy Anderson: $49,325.98 contributions, $71,535.86 expenditures

David Quintanilla: $30,529.74 contributions, $31,467.89 expenditures

Here are the top five financial supporters for each campaign:

Here is how much donation money District 2 incumbent Jayme Mathias has raised in that timeframe. As of Oct. 31, challenger Adolphus “Andy” Anderson’s report had not been posted.

Jayme Mathias: $8,244 contributions, $2,798.30 expenditures
