AustinISD_redAustin ISD will host a series of public meetings about its long-term facility master plan from April 30-May 4, giving community members an opportunity to provide feedback.

AISD will ask community members what it means to "reinvent the urban school experience," what it means to modernize schools and what are the best ways to converse about AISD schools, according to a release by AISD.

AISD Facility and Bond Planning Advisory Committee members, AISD leaders and staff will attend the meetings.

The long-term facilities master planning process may also include potential bond programs.

AISD is also seeking input about best ways to converse about AISD schools through an online survey, which is open until 5 p.m. on May 5.

Meetings will be held at the following schools:

Bowie High School, 4103 W. Slaughter Lane, 9-11 a.m.
Sadler Means Young Women's Leadership Academy, 6401 N. Hampton Drive, 1–3 p.m.

Allan Facility, 4900 Gonzales St., 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

• May 3
Akins High School, 10701 S. First St., 6-8 p.m.

• May 4
Lanier High School, 1201 Payton Gin Road, 6-8 p.m.
