The Lake Travis ISD community celebrated the opening of the district’s high school annex with addresses by staff, trustees and students Sept. 28. Tours followed a ribbon cutting and refreshments.

The $20.5 million annex project—with its health science labs, media center and athletic rooms—added 22,500 square feet to the high school facility that now totals 151,700 square feet.

The occasion also marked the completion of projects funded by the 2012 LTISD $158.5 million bond package passed by voters in November 2011.
