Charles W. Lee Jr. became the new campus director of the National American University Austin South Campus on July 13.

Lee said he wants to bring stability to the campus, adding that there have been three other campus directors in the past three years.

“Our No. 1 goal at the end of the day is [to make sure] every decision and action we make is in the best interest of our students,” he said.

Lee’s other goals are to service the local community and increase awareness of the school’s brand.

“National American University is definitely part of [Southwest] Austin, and we are very interested in making sure we’re doing the things we need to do,” he said.

The private college offers more than 60 degree programs.
