Students can enroll this fall in National American University's new nursing program, said Alex Deck, campus director at the South Austin campus.

National American's campus in North Austin was approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing to enroll students for its Bachelor of Science in nursing degree starting with the fall quarter, which begins Sept. 8.

"That's beneficial to this location because we can enroll students who are going into the general education [courses for that degree]," Deck said of the South Austin campus, adding some courses required for the nursing clinical core will also be available online.
