Although the site has not yet been built, Blue Blazes Ranch, a proposed mixed-use commercial development at 1601 E. Hwy. 290, Dripping Springs, celebrated a ribbon cutting March 20 to welcome interested businesses and community members to learn more about the project.

The 35-acre project offers interested buyers and opportunity to custom-design their own buildings in the development, which could include offices, commercial and retail businesses, a hotel and medical offices. About 3.5 acres of land will be preserved as green space.

The site is located at the most eastern end of the Dripping Springs city limits. The land was annexed by the city of Dripping Springs in January 2017.
