The Serene Hills neighborhood, 4896 Serene Hills Blvd., Lakeway, opened a 5.2-mile hike and bike trail June 7. The project—which includes workout stations and picnic tables—runs from the Falconhead development to Bee Creek Road. It features a view of Lake Travis Middle School from its peak at Bee Creek and West Hwy. 71.

Serene Hills is a 456-acre mixed-use community, of which 114 acres can be developed, Serene Hills operating partner Douglas Hunter said.

“The response has been very good [to the trails],” he said.
