The development of residential community Patterson Court, 1024 Patterson Road, Austin, is moving forward after the project’s site plan was approved in May.
Custom Classics by David Weekley Homes, a luxury home building division of David Weekley Homes, is developing the nine-homesite neighborhood in the almost 10-acre former site of the West Austin Athletic Club.
Although the previous club development featured swimming pools and tennis courts, these amenities were in poor condition and were removed to make way for the 1-acre condominium homesites, David Weekley Land Manager Ian Dietrich said. The homes are planned to range in size from 3,500 to 5,000 square feet and priced starting at just under $1 million, he said. Each site will have its own septic system, he said.
The semi-custom homes will deliver relief to a “supply-constrained” area and provide walkability to Barton Creek Elementary School and West Ridge Middle School in Eanes ISD, Dietrich said.
“We want to deliver a new, updated look in Eanes [ISD] for under the prevailing market,” he said. “[Patterson Court] will include large custom-like homes without the hassle of going through the process [of architecting].”
Dietrich said a homeowners association will be created to maintain the private driveway and common elements. He said he expects presales in the community to begin in early 2017.
