Travis County Commissioners Court approved its Land, Water and Transportation Plan during its Dec. 2 meeting.

The LWTP provides a framework for guiding growth to balance development and conservation in unincorporated Travis County, according to county documents. It has an executive summary, the plan itself, background data and reference material, and a summary of past policies leading up to the plan.

County staff recommended the plan be approved and told the court the final version of the LWTP includes public input and updated project information.
