The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation announced May 11 that SISU Devices plans to triple its size at 1520 Royston Lane and expand the number of employees by the end of next year.

“SISU serves a wide range of small, medium and large corporate customers around the world. They also employ an extremely diverse workforce of machinists, assembly technicians and engineers who are from 12 different countries,” said PCDC Executive Director Amy Madison in a statement. “We are proud that SISU was founded and will continue to grow right here in Pflugerville for many years to come.”

SISU is a custom machine and robotics manufacturer established in 2010. Co-founders Russell Aldridge and Mark Christianson say they will make a $2.1 million capital investment to add 12,000 sq. ft. to its existing facility and add 45 jobs by the end of 2017.

Aldridge said the company is currently looking to hire engineers for the Pflugerville facility. SISU provides manufacturing, engineering and assembly services, and company officials said they will add sheet metal fabrication services in their expansion plans.
