Crepe Crazy, a restaurant serving a variety of sweet and savory crepes, is slated to open its first Austin location Dec. 3 at 3103 S. Lamar Blvd., General Manager Sergei Giterman said.
The restaurant also operates a location at 660 W. Hwy. 290 in Dripping Springs with a menu that includes crepes such as Granny Smith apple and brie, prosciutto and apricot jam, and Mediterranean Medley.
The owners and all of their employees are deaf, which is why the business has a “Point and Ye Shall Receive” sign on the wall at the Dripping Springs location.
The restaurant's point-of-sale system allows customers to customize their orders, and there is an LED writing board with which to communicate as well, Giterman said.
