Officials broke ground June 24 for the Arterial H extension Phase 1 project near the Southeast Williamson County Regional Park.

The $3.2 million project will connect Sam Bass Road to the already existing portion of Arterial H at its intersection with Massey Way, said Connie Watson, Williamson County public affairs manager. The project was designed to ultimately be a four-lane roadway. The county is building two lanes that are expected to be complete by early 2017. The additional two lanes could be built at a later date.
